Tara over at Southern Savings & Deals has a great idea to help people with Thanksgiving. We all know that we can lots of groceries extremely cheap for those who are really in need this time of year. Here is her post about it:
Throughout the month of October and November start collecting grocery items for needy families in our area. If you coupon now, you will be able to grab a ton of items very very cheap. For example: pasta is on sale right now at Publix with coupons for $0.20 or cheaper. If we all join together we could create some great baskets to give to families around Thanksgiving. Think of how happy they would be to receive groceries for the holidays. If you would like to make a donation, email Tara at southernsavings@aol.com for drop off times and locations.
